Antonio Regojo has been practicing law in Miami, Florida since 2007, focusing primarily on small business law and international business transactions. Prior to founding Regojo Law, Mr. Regojo practiced at a boutique international law firm working with Latin American multinationals seeking to enter the US market, as well as with US based companies. Mr. Regojo worked as general counsel to a large Latin American food franchise, advising on intellectual property matters as well as franchise and business matters. Additionally, Mr. Regojo worked on a number of cross-border transactions in a number of industries, from import-export transactions, to oil exploration to mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Regojo’s true passion is working with small and medium sized businesses (whether foreign or domestic), helping them properly organize so that they can reach their full potential.
Mr. Regojo has a unique outlook when it comes to advising his business clients. During law school, Mr. Regojo founded Inversionario.com, a Spanish language financial education website that teaches Spanish speakers in the United States and the world how to properly and safely invest their money in the stock market. The site also features a Spanish-English financial dictionary and a virtual stock trading game, all designed and created by Mr. Regojo. As of 2011, Inversionario has assisted over 150,000 people with investment related issues. Because Mr. Regojo is both an attorney and a small business owner, he has the unique ability of understanding a client’s legal matters as it pertains to the client’s business, meaning he will analyze matters from a legal standpoint, while understanding the business implications and desired result.
Mr. Regojo graduated from Florida International University School of Law in 2007 cum laude, with a focus on corporate and transactional law. While attending FIU School of Law, Mr. Regojo was a member of the FIU Law Review and a founding member of the Spessard L. Holland Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Mr. Regojo also clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office- Economic Crimes Division.
Prior to law school, Mr. Regojo attended Virginia Tech University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Finance and Risk Management. Upon graduation, Mr. Regojo worked as an equity trader for a New York based fund and subsequently in Miami, Florida as a stockbroker.
