There are 3 types of consumer bankruptcy, chapter 7, chapter 13 and chapter 11, which is used mostly by businesses.

This video explains the different types of bankruptcy you can files for and how they will effect you and/or your personal property. Everyone’s case is different and it’s always best to consult with your bankruptcy attorney before deciding what will be best for you.
